I got my E51 last week.. I dont have a router at present as so was trying to share the internet connection from my laptop and use the laptop's wireless as a router.. to connect the phone in adhoc mode. I could connect to the laptop from phone.. but cant connect to the net.. any suggestions pls?? Again, i got fring installed. And i selected "vodafone live" as my access point. But Fring comes back with a message "Couldnot establish connection to the fring network. Would you like to start an automatic search?". I gave Yes. But it still couldn't connect. I can access net from phone using vodafone live and apps like gmail works like a charm.. but not fring :( back here again.. with another qn.. I got my E51 last week.. Fring actually allows to make both skype / google voice calls over WiFi. But I prefer skype as it has better voice clarity.
